Q Clothing Closet

Trans and Gender Nonconforming Students

  • Monthly pop up shop that is set up in Thomas Administration Building Room 110. You must be a Fresno State student to receive clothes. 
  • Donations are accepted on an appointment basis. Please call ahead prior to donating items.

Queer Talks

LGBTQ+ Discussion Group

  • Bi-weekly discussion group that is only open to LGBTQ+ students. 
  • You can build community with other LGBTQ+ students by attending these meetings.
  • Meetings are every Friday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in Thomas Administration Building Room 110.

The Cross Cultural and Gender Center exists to contribute significantly to the continued development of a safe and welcoming environment for the Fresno State community. We foster meaningful dialogue and activism that works to eliminate racism, sexism, heterosexism, and other forms of oppression.

The Q Clothing Closet exists to provide FREE clothing to trans and gender-nonconforming folks, and anyone else who might need it. The clothing closet opens during scheduled pop-up shops that are announced under our Q Clothing Closet tab to your left!
 

The Student Health and Counseling Center is an organization that is recognized for its commitment to providing leadership for health services on campus, and contributing to the success of students and the university community by promoting lifelong healthy behaviors, and creating healthy environments. 
 

The Cross Cultural and Gender Center provides space for students, staff, and faculty to come together and share community. Queer Talks which is exclusive to anyone that identifies within the LGBTQ+ Community.

Visit us in the TLC Pride Room, the LGBTQ+ identities centered room located in the Cross Cultural and Gender Center. You can find it in the Thomas Building room 109B. In the Pride Room, you can study, sleep, and meet new people. We post our upcoming events on our bulletin board and there are resources located in the room. We also provide free condoms, internal condoms, and lubricant for students to discreetly and anonymously take!

Centro La Familia has served low-income families throughout Fresno County for 38 years by providing access to life sustaining resources. Services include health/wellness, family strengthening, victim services, policy/leadership development, and immigration

Community Link has been providing services to the LGBT+ community since 1988. Their organization provides services to youth, families, and seniors. Community Link also hosts the annual Fresno Rainbow Pride parade. 
 

LGBTQ+ Resource Center provides supportive services to enhance the health and well being of individuals of all ages in the LGBTQ+ community. Serving all individuals in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, queer, HIV, and questioning community members in the Fresno County area.

Services include:

Access to resources in a safe and inclusive environment.
Peer Led Support Groups
Referrals to resources identified by the individual
Advocacy

The Living Room encourages and supports the well-being and empowerment of persons infected, affected, and at risk of HIV/AIDS. The Living Room is a part of WestCare California.

Trans-E-Motion honors and celebrates the lives of transgender persons to bring about social change for the benefit of the transgender/transsexual community through activities and events that bring education, understanding, and support to all.

Julie Nicole is a trans-friendly physician at Central Valley OB/GYN who provides the following services: Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and Hysterectomies. They also refer out for the following reasons: Breast Reductions and Phalloplasty for Trans Men and Vaginoplasty for Trans Women
