Latino/a Programs and Services serves as a small program within the Cross Cultural and Gender Center that provides educational opportunities for students, staff, and faculty through the facilitation of various on-campus programs that address the unique experiences and social conditions of Latino/a students. Additionally, Latino/a Programs and Services serves as a central space to inquire about Latino/a resources on Fresno States campus. We know that sometimes asking the right question, knowing where to go for information, or contacting the right person can be difficult.

The Cross Cultural and Gender Center exists to contribute significantly to the continued development of a safe and welcoming environment for the Fresno State community. We foster meaningful dialogue and activism that works to eliminate racism, sexism, heterosexism, and other forms of oppression.

Latino/a Programs and Services provides a brave space for students to connect with other students. This discussion group is an opportunity to meet other Latino/a/x students and build community over topics that are relatable and fun! The Student Health and Counseling Center is an organization that is recognized for its commitment to providing leadership for health services on campus, and contributing to the success of students and the university community by promoting lifelong healthy behaviors, and creating healthy environments.
Project Hope helps students experiencing challenges that are impacting their education and overall well-being can work with our Case Management Team to find a solution and connect to campus and community resources.

The University Advising Center (UAC) provides general education advising to the entire campus and serves as major advisors for students who are undeclared. The UAC provides the following services:

Food in-se-cu-ri-ty: the state of being without reliable access to a sufficient quantity
of affordable, nutritious food.
Food insecurity is a growing issue on college campuses and Fresno State is working
hard to make sure is not a problem on our campus. The Food Security Project has several

Fresno State awards over a thousand scholarships totaling more than 3.8 million dollars in free money to incoming and continuing students. Institutional scholarships range from $100 to almost $35,000 and are awarded to both undergraduate and graduate students. Scholarships are offered by various colleges, departments, and organizations to students who meet specific criteria. Regardless of your accomplishments, interests, background, or GPA, we encourage all students to apply for scholarships.

The Confidential Survivor Advocate at Fresno State Will:
